Reggie Sanders Outside the Diamond

While baseball is a sport dominated by numbers and statistics, the legacy of Reggie Sanders can be found not only in his lifetime of achievements on the field, but by the lives he touched while playing. Reggie tirelessly gave back to those in the communities in which he lived from assisting underprivileged inner city children by providing every imaginable school supply to an entire elementary school on the first day of class in Cincinnati to providing kids tickets and transportation to every home game in Kansas City. Reggie was committed to helping every child he could in every city where he played.

A man of strong faith, Reggie and his wife, Wyndee have dedicated their entire professional careers to reaching out and helping those less fortunate. Today, Reggie lives in Myrtle Beach, SC with his wonderful wife, Wyndee and their four beautiful daughters Cody, Carrigon, Carson, Cooper and grandson Campton. While now retired from playing professional baseball. Following the Baseball Reggie quickly regrouped and looked toward the future. He turned to his family and with their help and support continues to stay in the game. Reggie remains extremely active with the Kansas City Royals as Special Assistant for Baseball Operations, Reggie Sanders Foundation, Youth Mentoring, Baseball Enterprise, MLB Players Trust and lives to spend time with his family.
